What is an estate sale?

An estate sale is a way to sell some of the contents of your home and other possessions. While there are other avenues to do this an estate sale will usually bring you a better profit as opposed to a garage sale or auction.

Who would hold an estate sale?

There are many reasons a person might choose an estate sale. Most common are those who are downsizing do to some life changing event. One reason might be the nest is now empty, and the Client is looking for a smaller place and won’t need all they have collected over the years. Another reason might be do to unfortunate passing of a loved one and there is no need for some of those possessions as well.

How does the process work?

Debbie and I will meet with you the client to discuss your needs and to gage what it is you are looking to accomplish. If we find that an estate sale is the right way to go our professional staff would then come in to stage clean and mark items for sale.

How long will this process take?

Usually this takes anywhere from one to two weeks to set up. This would depend on how many items and what type of items for sale. Some of these items will need to be researched and staged properly to achieve the best fair market value of your items.
